Following the resignation of Rob Lawson, it has been decided to appoint Gordon Lee to the position of ‘Interim Chair’ of the National Council, for the current season.

After more than fifteen years at the helm, Rob Lawson has announced that he is stepping down as Chair of the Trainers & Driver’s Association.

I know it’s not directly related to harness racing, but having spoken to Dunedin vet and Forbury Park stalwart Peter Gillespie, who was directly involved in the incident, about the incident and heard his horrific description, it’s a matter that will touch the heart of all horse lovers.
